As a GM you will:
- Building a great restaurant culture
- Embedding P. Terry's in the communities we serve through strong crew member and guest relationships and Local Restaurant Marketing.
- Building strong teams by networking, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring Managers and Crew Members
- Consistently training and developing Crew Members and Managers
- Verifying training standards are being maintained
- Directing the Management Team, including setting weekly Management schedules and assigning areas of responsibility to the Managers of the restaurant
- Responsible for the successful and profitable operations of a restaurant
- Supporting the Management Team in developing and leading initiatives that build sales, profitability, and store performance
- Planning, preparing, and overseeing weekly, monthly, and yearly inventories and budgets
- Managing weekly and monthly P&L
- Ensuring all cash handling policies and procedures are being followed
- Overseeing the cleanliness of the restaurant and preventative maintenance of the equipment and building
- Understanding, managing, and practicing safe food handling procedures
- Acting as primary liaison with all restaurant vendors and HQ contacts
- Attending weekly and quarterly meetings
- Requirements of a General Manager:
- Must two to three (2-3) years of GM experience
- Experience in a Drive Thru is bonus
- Motivated and thrive in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
- Hands on leader that can lead in both the Back of the House (BOH) and Front of the House (FOH)
- Positive competitive outlook - with a Yes Mindset
- Bilingual a plus
- Must be able to use to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
- Must be willing to work up to 10 hours shifts, stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
