Our Commissary is the heart of our operations, ensuring every burger stand has the high-quality ingredients our guests love. We’re looking for a Commissary Manager to oversee and manage the effective and efficient operation of the Commissary. You will utilize P. Terry’s resources, recipes, systems and programs to direct daily operations including but not limited to food production, inventory, product deliveries, invoices, and procurement operations, as well as motivate the crew and endure adequate staffing.

The Role
Reporting to the Director of Commissary Operations (DOCO), you will:

Operational Compliance & Safety: Demonstrate a deep understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques. Maintain a consistently clean, sanitary, and compliant work environment.

Inventory & Commissary Management: Apply expert knowledge of inventory control techniques to oversee the receiving, storing, and tracking of commissary items.

Data & Record Keeping: Utilize strong organizational and data entry skills to manage digital records, inventory levels, and scheduling via PC-based software.

Vendor & Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors. Ensure service excellence by responding promptly and professionally to all email and phone inquiries.

Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and motivate a team while acting collaboratively to resolve complex, unique, or spontaneous operational challenges.
What you Bring to the Table

Industry Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation methods, specialized equipment, and safety procedures.

Experience: 3 to 5 years supervisory work experience in food service, moderate to high volume multi-unit food and beverage operations, retail operations or related areas.

Bilingual Requirement: Professional fluency in Spanish and English is strictly required for this role.

Adaptive Problem Solving: Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage a high volume of work under strict time constraints.

Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in operating a PC for record-keeping and inventory management, with the ability to quickly learn new functional software.

Professionalism: A self-motivated professional who works well independently, demonstrates an ability to multi-task, and possesses effective written and verbal communication skills.
